The full terms are below.
These terms govern quotes, samples and orders placed with Wears Zone. By requesting a quote you agree to them.
1. What we do
We manufacture custom apparel to order. Nothing on this website is sold as stock. Every item is produced against an approved specification after you confirm it.
2. Quotes
Prices are not displayed on this website because the price of a custom garment depends on quantity, fabric, decoration method and delivery timeline.
A quote we send you is:
- Valid for 7 days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise
- Based on the specification discussed at the time
- Subject to change if you alter quantity, fabric, decoration or deadline
A quote is an invitation to proceed. It is not a contract until you confirm the order in writing and we accept it.
3. Minimum order quantity
Our minimum is 30 pieces per design for sportswear and streetwear. Accessories carry a minimum of 30 pieces. Some items carry a higher minimum, which we will tell you before quoting.
4. Samples and approval
Nothing goes into bulk production until you have seen and approved the first piece. There are two ways to do this.
Virtual approval — included at no charge
Once your order is confirmed, we produce a first piece and show it to you over a video call before the bulk run begins. You see the fabric, the fit, the print and the stitching, and we make any adjustments you ask for.
There is no additional charge for this and no waiting for shipping. It is included with every order.
Physical sample — charged separately
If you would like a sample produced and shipped to you before bulk production, we can do that. This is quoted separately and is charged in addition to the order, as it involves a separate production run and international shipping.
Sample lead time is approximately 7 days from artwork approval, plus shipping time.
What approval means
Approving a piece — whether on video or in your hands — means approving the fabric, fit, colour and decoration for the whole run. Production begins from that point and the specification is locked.
5. Artwork and intellectual property
Your artwork stays yours. Logos, designs, names and marks you send remain your property.
By sending us artwork you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that producing it will not infringe anyone else’s rights. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from artwork you supplied.
We will not reproduce your designs for any other customer.
Patterns, technical specifications and production methods we develop remain ours.
We will not publish your product in our portfolio without your permission.
6. Approval
Before production begins we send you a mockup and, where applicable, a physical sample. Production starts only after you approve in writing.
Once you approve, the specification is locked. Changes after approval may incur additional cost and delay, and may not be possible if production has started.
We are not responsible for errors in artwork, spelling, names, numbers or sizing that were present in material you approved.
7. Timelines
Typical production time is 2 to 4 weeks after artwork approval, plus shipping.
These timelines are estimates given in good faith. They are not guarantees. Delays can arise from late approvals, artwork changes, fabric availability, freight capacity, customs inspection or events outside our control.
If a delivery date is critical, tell us before you order and we will confirm in writing whether it is achievable.
8. Payment
Payment terms are agreed in writing for each order before production begins. Depending on order size and history, we work on either:
- Full payment in advance, or
- A staged schedule agreed at the time of the order — for example an initial deposit on confirmation with the balance released against agreed production milestones
All payments fall due before dispatch. We do not offer payment terms after shipping.
Production does not begin until the first payment is received. Staged schedules are offered at our discretion and are normally reserved for established customers.
9. Shipping, duties and customs
We ship directly to the address you provide. Door delivery is our standard method unless you ask us to arrange something else.
Duties and customs are confirmed with you before we quote. Import duties, taxes and clearance charges in the destination country are normally the buyer’s responsibility. Where you would prefer us to cover them, tell us before we price the order and we will quote on that basis instead. Either way it is agreed in writing before you confirm.
We provide the export documentation required for clearance.
Shipping timelines are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by customs inspection, freight capacity or events outside our control are not within our responsibility.
10. Manufacturing tolerances
Custom apparel is made by hand from materials that stretch, shrink and take dye differently between batches. The following variations are normal in garment manufacturing worldwide and are not defects.
10.1 Colour
Colour is matched to a sample or lab dip that you approve before production, assessed under standard daylight (D65).
Shade will not fall below Grade 4 on the international grey scale for colour change and staining (AATCC Evaluation Procedures 1 and 2; ISO 105-A02 and ISO 105-A03).
Where a buyer requires instrument-measured matching, we work to DE CMC (2:1) of 1.5 or better against the approved standard. This must be agreed in writing before production.
You should also be aware that:
- Screen and printed mock-up colours are not guaranteed. Monitors, phones and printers all reproduce colour differently.
- Different decoration processes will not match exactly. A colour produced by dye sublimation will differ slightly from the same nominal colour in tackle twill, screen print or embroidery. Where an exact match matters, we recommend not placing the same colour side by side across two processes.
- Separate dye lots may vary slightly. Reorders placed at a later date cannot be guaranteed to match a previous batch exactly.
10.2 Measurements
Finished garments may vary by up to ±5% of the measurements listed on our size charts.
In detail, our production tolerances are:
| Measurement | Tolerance |
|---|---|
| Chest, body length, sleeve length | ± 0.5 in (1.3 cm) |
| Shoulder, neck, cuff and sleeve openings | ± 0.25 in (0.6 cm) |
| Waist, inseam, hem sweep | ± 0.5 in (1.3 cm) |
| Full circumference measurements | ± 1 in (2.5 cm) |
Knitted garments sit at the wider end of these ranges because the fabric stretches. Woven garments are held tighter.
10.3 Shrinkage
Shrinkage after laundering is separate from manufacturing tolerance. Tested to AATCC 135 / ISO 6330, our allowances are:
| Fabric | Allowance |
|---|---|
| Polyester and sublimated polyester | up to 2% |
| Poly-cotton blends | up to 3% |
| Cotton fleece and cotton jersey | up to 5% |
Shrinkage beyond these figures, when the garment has been laundered according to its care label, is treated as a defect.
10.4 Decoration placement
| Method | Placement tolerance |
|---|---|
| Screen printing | ± 0.5 in (1.3 cm) |
| Heat transfer / DTF | ± 0.5 in (1.3 cm) |
| Embroidery | ± 0.25 in (0.6 cm) |
| Sublimation (cut and sew) | Positioned to our standard for the style and size |
10.5 Inspection
Orders are inspected before dispatch to ISO 2859-1 / ANSI-ASQ Z1.4, General Inspection Level II, at AQL 2.5 for major defects and 4.0 for minor defects, against your approved sample.
10.6 League and competition compliance
Where uniforms are produced for organised competition, it is your responsibility to confirm that number size, placement, lettering and design comply with the rules of your league or governing body (for example NFHS or NCAA in the United States). We produce to the specification you approve.
11. Cancellation
You may cancel before production begins, subject to costs already incurred on your order — artwork, sampling, fabric purchased.
Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled. The goods are made to your specification and cannot be resold.
12. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost sales, lost sponsorship or costs arising from a missed event date.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law and separate agreements
These terms are governed by the laws of JURISDICTION and disputes will be resolved in the courts of SIALKOT.
Where a buyer enters into a separate written supply agreement or contract with us, the terms of that agreement take precedence over these terms to the extent that the two differ.
